OUR COMPANY
Silver Lining Aviation implements three categories of Light Sport Aircraft
to meet the budget and mission demands of rural law enforcement and
protection agencies.
Light Sport Aircraft
Light Sport Aircraft implemented by Silver Lining Aviation typically are two
seat or less aircraft designed to be dispatched quickly from a trailer or
hanger and need minimal space to take off and land. By design, the aircraft
can land safely without an engine and can operate for less than $30.00 per
hour. The aircraft and equipment typically cost about the cost of a fully
outfitted patrol car and can be flown safely by an on duty officer with custom
training provided by Silver Lining Aviation. Each aircraft can fly between five
feet above the ground up to ten thousand feet above the surface. The aircraft
can fly as slow as 3mph and can fly as fast as 110mph
SERVICE
Every aircraft implemented by Silver Lining Aviation has 24x7x365 support
and offers replacement parts within 24 hours. Repair service is provided by
FAA Certified Mechanics supported directly from the factory. Included in the
maintenance program are annual checkups and inspections exceeding
FAA and Manufacture specifications to keep pilots safe!
EDUCATION PROGRAM
Silver Lining Aviation Certified Flight Instructors will train the pilots in the
aircraft purchased and will be specific to law enforcement missions in the
weather and terrain that the pilots will be flying.
The instructor will be based at your local airport in one of our custom
designed "Aircraft Carriers" that will remain on site until the students
receive his or her Private or Sport Pilot Certificate. Training is typically
between the hours of 7:00am to 11:00am and from 5:00pm to 10:00pm
and can be done in two weeks.
Each student must past an intense training program before solo flight.
The training principals follow Airborne Law Enforcement Best Practices
(ALEA) that are used by the most effective Airborne Police Agencies
worldwide.
